When you enter baby photo contest competitions you need to think about the objectives that you have in doing so as this will impact upon the type of competitions that you should enter. I find this quite important as I don’t want to waste my time, effort and sometimes money on going into a competitions that will not really give me what I am looking for even if I do win. There are literally thousands of competitions out there so you want to focus your energy on what suits.
For instance, an online baby photo contest is great to see public perception and can rake in some serious cash, however a magazine baby picture contest will provide a huge amount of exposure for your child which will in turn be likely to provide more work in future.
At the outset when your baby has little experience it may be good just to get out there and then go for more exposure as they progress but this is completely up to you.
