There are usually two paths to choose from when considering who will represent your child in the baby modeling business and that is yourself or an agency. However there is a third option and that is private baby model agents.
These agents are basically private contractors and they offer very similar services to the baby modeling agencies, however with most choices there are some risks and benefits.
The main benefit is that they are likely to have less clients overall and are therefore able to put your child forward for more work, secondly the success of their business is linked to yours so they have a very personal interest in making sure your baby does well. Finally a good agent will also take very good care of your child.
The downside of a private agent is that there may be less regulation on their work and you will be advised to take a more cautious approach when signing up. Unfortunately there are quite a number of scams set up in the guise of private agents that will take a lot of money from you without any jobs actually appearing.
